Ashley grew up with a passion for riding and took every opportunity to spend with horses that she could get. While living at a horse farm, she fell in love with a fuzzy, neglected quarter horse that no one else could handle. To buy him from the neglectful owner she got her first job riding and training professionally at just 13. It was the lack of opportunity to ride “nice” horses that gave her a deeper understanding how to communicate with these amazing animals and build a connection through time and patience. She went on to compete that same quarter horse against imported warmbloods in both the hunters and jumpers winning almost everything they entered. Through her teenage years she found many horses like him and began her career taking on those that other’s had given up on and bringing them up the levels. She has had the opportunity to train under some renowned mentors and compete some pretty special horses along the way. With over 19 years in the industry, she has developed a program for both show and pleasure horses and riders that brings out the best in them through a carefully curated program based on balanced and thoughtful riding.

Maribeth is our wonderful Barn Manager and Assistant Trainer. Over the past 17 years, she has taken many children and adults from never seeing a horse before to blossoming into a confident and skilled rider. She truly treats every client as if they’re family and makes everyone feel special. She is a patient and kind instructor and we are so grateful to have her as an integral part of the team.
